New Module at college and I had to create a card model of an apartment which I had designed. The model was much harder to make than I had first anticipated but the final product looks effective and you can visualise better where everything fits.

Can Starbucks really influence and change design?

Following Arch Record on Twitter I found this article which they had posted. I was totally intrigued to how they had managed to link Starbucks in with design and how it was relevant. But reading the whole article it does fit, it is a very out there statement but it does make sense. How Starbucks has changed the face of coffee is used to reflect how the attributes can affect design. It was a new fresh idea given to coffee and it the article states how you can get three sizes, all different flavours to suit your mood and they want to reflect this into this building. The way that they are going to do it is create new experiences for learning and the architecture will help this. The building above is a computer generated model of the building, I really like the shape and style; it is very contemporary and modern.
