Bokeh

The term bokeh is derived from a Japanese word which means “blur.” In photography, bokeh is the aesthetic quality of the blur, or the effect of the out-of-focus regions of an image. This technique is usually done in order to make the main subject stand out in the photo. Lens aberrations and shape of lens aperture are the major things that help in achieving bokeh. I think these photographs are really beautiful and look effective.

Innovative Design Concepts

These design concepts are very creative and also very different. Some are totally unrealistic but purposely creative however others could be used effectively.

Paradoxymoron!

This painting is so odd. It's simply a 3D object painted so that from the front it looks like flat but in perspective. When you move round it, it looks as though it's still flat but moving. Look at it from the side, at the end of the clip, and it all becomes clear. This really confused me but enticed me at the same time, Strange!

When a picture is not a picture...

I have came across this website and found these images which are very clever. They look very effective and have been creatively thought out.

Sidewalk Chalk Guy

This man is amazing! The work that he produces is outstanding and so life like.

Typography

This can be used many places; in magazines, advertisements, websites, logos and more. These great pieces will show you that there are no boundaries and that you can make almost anything with text if you have a good portion of creativity and talent.

Typography can in todays terms be so much more than what you find in a book or magazine. It’s turned into a very inspiring form of art, and there are many great pieces out there. Many times they can be mixed with either other graphical elements or some sort of poem or saying.

Tree House

This is an weird house built in Wales, The house was built with maximum regard for the environment and by reciprocation gives us a unique opportunity to live close to nature. Being your own (have a go) architect is a lot of fun and allows you to create and enjoy something which is part of yourself and the land rather than, at worst, a mass produced box designed for maximum profit and convenience of the construction industry. Building from natural materials does away with producers profits and the cocktail of carcinogenic poisons that fill most modern buildings.

I really like how it looks likle a fantasy home and also reminds me of Winnie the Pooh sort of home bringing me back to my childhood.
